Beijing 2008

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

After 48 years of waiting, we are assured of an Olympic medal, courtesy of our women table tennis team.

Woohoo!

Well done girls! You do us proud!



And, not forgetting Tao Li, who is the first Singaporean swimmer to reach the finals of an Olympic swimming event. Though she didn't bring home any medal, she is still someone Singapore is proud of. Well done girl.



On a side note, all hail Swimming King Michael Phelps.



With 6 golds in his pocket as of now, equaling his feat at Athens 2004, his 8 gold dream at Beijing 2008 is fast becoming a reality.

Wah... i wonder when he goes home won't he develop a strained neck? 8 solid gold medals hanging from his neck not light man... haha

Besides, how is he going to clear immigration smoothly with all the additional security at airports everywhere? Jia lat...
