Graduation
26th batch... HOOYA 26th Batch!
Finally, after 6 months of intensive training, I have passed out from Combat Diving Course as a qualified Combat Diver. What a journey...
The graduation ceremony was held at NDU today. Simple but grand. Everything went smoothly. All our efforts over the past few weeks for the graduation has been worth it.
Having the badge pinned on our chest at the ceremony was a proud moment for the 65 of us. The course is not easy and really, sometimes you just wonder why are you going through this hardship. However, when you look at your own reflection in the mirror with the bage on, the tears, sweat and blood was worth it. We have grown from tadpoles to be part of the frogmen family, elites of the Navy.
Now we embark on a new journey. I don't know whether it will be a smooth-sailing one or one full of obstacles but at least I am assured I travel not alone but with my fellow friends, frogmen of the Navy.
HOOYA!
