    When i say i need a break, i didn't expect such a long one.

Given my rather slack life routine, a break to me is a period of time away from camp. Not that i don't like my current life status, but i really want to be as far away as possible from camp, the source of my monotonous life. And i think i got more than my share of the bargain. Look at my schedule man!

Tomorrow night, i will be sailing to nowhere on the (i think) oldest and (confirm) smallest ship of our Navy, the MGB, otherwise known as the sampan. Will be back on friday i think. All depends on how fast the ship want to settle its business and hopefully i am back with pink cheeks and not a pale face. It is that time of the year you know? Don't want to be wrongly recognised.

On Friday, i will be travelling across the Causeway to attend Malaysia Kenshu. Woo! Been 2 years since i attended the last Malaysia Kenshu. Miss the 2006's one due to NS. Although i look forward to the Kenshu, i am not looking forward to the location though. The Kenshu will be held in the forest, literally. The venue is a resort situated on a slope and surrounded by trees. Cool! Talk about going green...

And last on my list is... Incredible India. Will start sailing on 30th and (luckily) not on a sampan but on the newest kid in the block in the RSN, RSS Formidable.

    RSS Formidable

Wah! Frigate leh! The most powerful ship our navy has okay? And best of all, built by the French! Wah! Sibei cool can?

Can't tell you how excited i am. Again, i am not looking forward to the port of call, but rather, the journey itself. This is the first time the ship has divers onboard when they are sailing, so i am sort of a pioneer. Haha. Furthermore, the interior of the ship look so new and so cool and really, you thought you are looking at a cruise liner crew deck rather than a deck of a military ship. They even have a vending machine okay? Overall, the feeling of sailing with the ship is simply fantastic and just so cool! Tell you guys more about the ship when i am back. =)

When will i be back? Hee hee. On Sept 11, which happens to be my birthday! Woohoo! Remember to celebrate for me and not mourn over some big event that happened some years ago okay?

See! In total, 18 days away from camp. Woohoo! Man, I just can't wait for this long break to start!

If there is a law regarding laziness, I guess I would be squatting in a small cell with other people right now. Man, I am getting lazy day by day. I wanted to start doing lots of things, like picking up a new book to read or start packing my room, which i think even a mouse would have nightmare navigating through it. But, i have done none at all.

I need motivation. A nice girl with a sweet voice and a hot figure would be ideal. =)

Anyway! National Day has passed and our island is one year older.

    Happy belated birthday Singapore!

Told ya i was lazy... haha

Due to reasons here and there (actually, i am simply too lazy to explain), i am free on National Day! Woohoo! Which means i could help out for the Junior Student Kenshu. Wee! It was fun, and in a way, it is something that boost everybody's faith up, be it for a while. We really need this kind of booster once in a while.

Furthermore, for the first time, the games com are allowed to include water in their activites! Woohoo! But water is too simple. So we have paint and mud to go along with it and boy, it is really one hell of a mess. But! Everyone had fun and that is the most important. =)

Now i am looking forward to the Malaysia Kenshu, my break from my boring, monotonous and routine life. However, things seems to become A LITTLE complicated. Next week wednesday i will be sailing to nowhere for 3 days. When i come back on friday, it will be a mad rush for me to catch the bus bound for Malaysia Kenshu. Hopefully i can make a successful transit. Than, after i am back from Malaysia, i will be sailing to India after just 4 days of seeing my beloved home.

    Wow.

    Lazy, I am.

These days, things are in a rush. Over at camp, due to reasons here and there, duty is consecutive. Duty, Standby, Off, Duty, Standby, Off... you get the picture. Furthermore, it is time to do a stock check of equipment under our care and boy, it is not a easy task. Generally, there are 3 types of equipment.

One is those that are too heavy to move or no one use them so their position is fixed and easily account for.

The second is those that you hardly use them or you use them once in a year. Because of this, people don't really remember where they are and this create a problem as every year a new batch of NSF replace the previous batch and the new batch would have to go and find the equipment and this process repeat annually.

The third is those that are commonly used. Because of this, the equipment position is not fixed as they are always moving around and it is a big headache when the superiors want to know where they are. You would have to go around asking who took it and this process is tedious and super sian.

Out of camp, the task of planning for the Junior Student Kenshu lies in front of me. Generally things are going okay and everything seems to be in place as we draw near the actual date. Hope it will be as enjoyable as the Senior's one. =)

Furthermore, Malaysia Youth Kenshu is at the end of this month and yeah! Finally a chance for me to get out of Singapore to breathe some foreign air. Haha. Not only that, first 2 weeks of September is spent on sailing! Woohoo! Finally it is my turn. BUT... the port of call seems to be India... hmmm...

But in any case, at least there are activites to colour up my otherwise black/white monotonous life. And i certainly welcome them with open arms. =)
